ACDC Great! BC Place Not So Much
"The music was great, but the acoustics are pretty good. We drove up to see the Vancouver version since we hate the Tacoma Dome. It was easier to hear the songs once my ears numbed up a bit. Excellent mix of new and old. The production, effects, and timing were near perfect. I loved the big screens; especially the closeups of Angus's hands on the SG. Absolutely amazing!
We ended up in the section of drunken morons since we didn't get the best seats. The antics were not surprising, just annoying. I've been to many shows, so that's the way these things go; I just shut out the surroundings and enjoy the show. My wife casually asked a security person in a beer line about smoking (tobacco and otherwise) and what the deal was. He shrugged his shoulders and replied, "We're just glad no one's gotten killed yet." "
